About the Run4Randi
Run4Randi is held in memory of a longtime Elkhorn teacher and coach who spent his career in cross country and track. The race carries that background in its bones, organized by people who knew him and drawing a crowd connected to local schools and athletics. It is a timed event with age group awards.
Parking is free on site. The start area has face painting and family activities, which gives the morning a school-event feel rather than a pure race atmosphere. It is the kind of morning where spectators outnumber the runners and most of the crowd already knows each other.
