About the Run Your Mouth

The course runs through the campus of Nova Southeastern University in Davie, which gives it a contained, shaded feel rather than an open-road one. The organizers plan to rotate the route each year across Davie and Cooper City, so the course itself is part of what changes edition to edition.

The race is hosted by the local chamber of commerce, and the start area reflects that, with community sponsors and local partners set up around the campus. Post-race, the energy stays on site, so there is no scramble to find the finish area crowd.
