About the Run Turkey Run
Run Turkey Run takes place at England-Idlewild Park on Thanksgiving morning, following an out-and-back route that stays entirely within the park. The course is straightforward and the setting is wooded parkland. Top overall finishers take home an actual turkey as their award, which is about as on-theme as a race can get.
Packet pickup happens race morning at the park's headquarters shelter; look for the signs. There is no early pickup, and all registration is handled online, including on race day itself, so bring your phone or a device if you are signing up that morning. The venue offers free parking.
