About the Run Through the Pines

The course loops around Lake Gregory and winds through a pine forest at high elevation, making it a genuine climb for anyone coming up from lower ground. The terrain is semi-paved and mixed underfoot, so expect some variation beneath your feet. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome, and the scenery is the point as much as the race itself.

The start area is at a lodge meadow near the lake, with parking available at the lodge and in the Lake Gregory lots. There is a marked area nearby where you should not leave your car. Same-day registration opens early morning on race day if you have not pre-registered.
