About the Run the Woods
The course runs through wooded trails along Paradise Road, where tree cover keeps things shaded and the path stays well away from pavement. The forest is quiet enough that you notice it, and the route has a natural, unhurried character that suits runners who want dirt under their feet instead of asphalt. A shorter fun run option brings out families with younger kids alongside the main distances.

The Run the Woods has been held every year since at least 2025. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
