About the Run the Vineyards - Nissley Vineyards 5K
The course at Nissley Vineyards mixes short-cut grass with pavement, so expect to shift footing a few times as you move through the estate grounds. The surrounding property is old and open, with historic buildings visible along the way. It runs cross-country style rather than a loop on roads, which gives it a different feel than most local road races.
Packet pickup happens race morning at a tent on the grounds, and parking is described as plentiful. After the race, there is live music, a food truck on site, and a complimentary glass of wine for those of age. Lawn games are set up nearby, and the patio area near the old estate buildings is where most people settle in afterward.
