About the Run the Vineyards - Memorial Day at Pindar 5K
The course runs through Pindar Vineyards, a working winery on the North Fork Wine Trail, and stays mostly flat as it winds past rows of vines. It is chip timed with water on the course and at the finish. Strollers are welcome, and walkers can join the longer distance too, starting just behind the runners.
Packet pickup happens race morning under blue tents in the back parking lot, so arriving early is the move. After finishing, there is a BBQ food truck and a donut-and-coffee truck on site, seating under a pavilion and at picnic tables, and a complimentary glass of wine for those of age. Live music plays through midday, and a puppy adoption event runs alongside the post-race party.
