About the Run the Vineyards - Federal Twist 10K/5K

The course at Federal Twist Vineyard mixes paved road with vineyard trail and the D&R Canal Trail, so the footing changes as you go. It is rural and open, with vines on one side and canal scenery on the other. Both distance options share that same varied terrain, and the surroundings do most of the work of making it feel like somewhere worth running.

Packet pickup is race morning only, at a tent on site, so plan to arrive with time to spare. Parking is tight at the vineyard, and carpooling is encouraged. After the race, there is live music on the lawn, a food truck with Latin food, and wine available. The organizers suggest bringing a lawn chair.
