About the Run the Sound 5K - Halloween Edition
The course runs along the waterfront at Seaside Park, so you get water views for most of the morning. Costumes are encouraged, and enough people show up dressed that the start line has a different energy than a typical fall road race. A DJ is set up and running before the gun goes off.
Registration and check-in happen on site the morning of the race, so there is no separate pickup the day before. After the run, local vendors are on the grounds, and for runners of legal drinking age, an after-party follows the finish.
