About the Run The Hill 5K
The course runs through the grounds of Osawatomie State Hospital, a campus with open views that give the route some visual breathing room. The race supports mental health awareness, and that purpose shapes the mood of the morning more than the terrain does. There is one real climb in the name, so expect some elevation.
Packet pickup happens the morning of the race, in the window just before the start. There is no separate day-before option, so plan to arrive with enough time to get your bib and warm up.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
