About the 2nd Annual Run Run Rudolph 5k
The route runs through the Tharptown Christmas Display, with themed spots along the way tied to A Christmas Story. Costumes are a big part of the morning, and prizes go to the most creative festive attire alongside the top overall finishers. The whole event benefits the display itself, which gives the race a clear local purpose.
The start is on Center Street, with registration opening shortly before the gun. Pizza is at the finish. Awards are announced once the last person crosses, so there is no rushing off early if you want to hear results called out.
