The course runs along the oceanfront in Pacific Grove, starting and finishing at Lover's Point Park on the water's edge. It is a coastal route, which means wind is possible and the scenery does the work. Dogs on leashes are welcome, so expect a few reindeer antlers on four-legged entries. A holiday costume contest runs alongside the timed option, and there is a children's activity area near the finish.
