About the Run or Wine 5k & 10k - September 2026
The course follows the Sammamish River Trail, a paved path that runs through open landscape outside Woodinville. The footing is smooth and the route is largely flat, with the surroundings shifting between riparian green and open sky. The trail has a natural, unhurried quality to it, and the scenery does most of the work.
After the finish, the event opens up into something less typical: drink tickets usable at local wineries, breweries, and cideries in the Woodinville area. Professional race photos are included. It is a course-to-cellar setup, and the post-race spread of wine, beer, cider, and non-alcoholic options gives the morning somewhere worthwhile to land.
