About the Run of Remembrance
This is a Día de Muertos themed road race held in Dallas, timed to the start of the holiday. Several distance options let runners choose how far they go, and the course brings together people running for personal reasons as much as competitive ones. The whole event is grounded in Hispanic heritage rather than a generic fall-festival feel.
The finish line area has a live Mariachi band, DJ sets, and vendors set up when you come through. It reads more like a street festival than a post-race parking lot, and that carries through the morning.
