About the Run Manatee - Rye Preserve 5K -2026
The course winds through Rye Preserve on a mix of grass, crushed shell, and asphalt, looping around ponds with scrub and oak hammock on either side. This is old Florida terrain, and if you slow down on the quiet stretches you might catch a gopher tortoise or a scrub-jay near the trail edge.
Packet pickup runs the two evenings before the race at a pair of recreation facilities in Bradenton, with a race-morning option at the preserve itself. After you finish, there is a warm-up and yoga session on site, plus food vendors and a marketplace for anyone who comes out to watch.
