About the Run Like the Wind 5k / 2k / Dog Jog
The course starts and finishes in downtown Allenspark, and the surrounding peaks and ridgelines are visible for much of the route. There are options for serious runners and those out for a casual outing, and dogs are welcome to run alongside their people. After the race, there is an amateur dog show.
The Old Gallery hosts the event, and all proceeds go toward its work supporting the surrounding mountain communities. Race-day registration closes before the start, so showing up early matters.
