About the Run Friends Run 5k & Pet-Friendly Fun Run

The course mixes cross-country trail running on a school campus with a stretch of neighborhood roads, so the footing changes under you partway through. Dogs are welcome on the shorter fun run, which stays on campus. Both routes share the same starting area, and the whole event is put on by parent volunteers raising money for the school.

Packet pickup opens on race morning at the school itself and closes before the first wave goes off. An awards ceremony for top finishers wraps things up roughly an hour after the start of the main race.
