About the Run For Your Life 5k

The course runs through woods on an adventure and challenge property outside Rixeyville. A sasquatch trail marker guides you to the finish, which tells you something about how seriously they take themselves. The terrain is cross-country, so expect dirt underfoot and some unevenness through the trees. This is a Halloween-themed event, and costumes are genuinely encouraged.

After the race, there is music at an amphitheater on the property, food, face painting, and a moon bounce. The event benefits substance abuse recovery programs, and there is a short message from the organization before things wrap up.
