About the Run for Your Life 5k & Kid's Run/Walk

The course runs along the southside trail system, mixing trail underfoot with stretches of sidewalk and road. It starts and ends at the football stadium parking lot on the east side of the Montana State University campus. The race has a Halloween costume element, and costume judging happens at the start area before the gun goes off.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at the Help Center's office on Farmhouse Lane. Race-morning pickup is available at the stadium's east gate, but the organizers strongly encourage the earlier pickup and warn to expect a line if you wait. Parking is free on weekends in the stadium lot and in the Fieldhouse lot across Kagy, though one south entrance into the stadium lot is closed for the event.
