About the Run for Thorncroft & 1-Mile Move-As-You-Please

The course runs through the grounds of an equestrian center on a trail that winds across a working farm property. It is genuinely pastoral: you are running past horse facilities and open land, not a park path. The shorter distance is billed as move-as-you-please, so walking is built into the premise, not just tolerated.

After the race, there is live music, a couple of food trucks, and a beer garden on site. The barn opens for pony meet-and-greets, which makes the finish area feel like the farm is actually part of the event rather than just a backdrop. Leashed dogs are welcome on the course.
