About the 17th Annual Run For Their Lives 5K
The course runs through North Park on roads lined with trees, looping around a swimming pool area. The terrain is flat enough that the surroundings do most of the talking, and the route keeps you in the park the whole way. This one raises money for bleeding disorders research and advocacy, so the field tends to draw people who are personally connected to that cause.
Packet pickup happens race morning, with no earlier option. After you finish, there is a walk, snacks, music, raffles, and games on site, so most people stick around for a while.
