About the Run for the Son 5K Run/3K Walk
The course moves through the heart of Humboldt, crossing and looping through the surrounding streets before finishing back at the town square. That is also where the Biblesta festival kicks off, so the finish line drops you right into the middle of it.
Proceeds from the race support a nonprofit focused on education and employment outreach, with work stretching from the region into Southeast Asia. The tie-in gives the morning a sense of purpose beyond the run itself.
