About the 41st Annual Run for the Roses
The course runs out and back along Rose Hill Road, so what you see on the way out you see again coming home. It is flat throughout, which makes it a straightforward effort without surprises. The race falls on the same weekend as the Rose Hill Fall Festival, so there is a bit more activity around town than a typical morning.
Packet pickup is available the evening before at the Rose Room on Rose Hill Road, and again race morning at the start and finish area outside Rose Hill United Methodist Church. The church also handles restrooms. Awards are given out at the finish line right after each race wraps up.
