About the Run for the Reef 10K/5K & One Mile Fun Run
The course runs out and back along Gulf Boulevard and Whitesands Boulevard on Navarre Beach, so you are on road with the Gulf nearby the whole way. It is a flat beach road, open and exposed, which means wind and sun are both real factors depending on the morning. Several distance options mean runners and walkers of different abilities share the start.
Packet pickup the evening before is at Windjammers on the Pier, which is also where the post-race party and awards ceremony lands. Parking for both is in the pier lot. The awards are handcrafted pottery pieces made by a local artist, and there is music and refreshments after the race at the same spot.
