About the Run for the Grapes
The race runs through Tontitown as part of the Grape Festival, a harvest celebration with deep Italian roots in this community. The course is chip timed for the main distance, while a shorter kids run is untimed and meant purely for the experience. Age group awards go deep into the field, so competitive runners have real hardware to chase.
After you finish, the festival is already happening around you. There is live entertainment, carnival rides, arts and crafts, and the famous spaghetti dinner. It is a genuine street festival, not just a backdrop, and most runners seem to stick around for it.
