About the Run For The Diamonds
Run For The Diamonds is a Thanksgiving morning road race in Berwick, one of the oldest in the country. The course runs through town on roads, covering a serious distance for a holiday race. It draws a wide field, and the competitive side is genuine, with a course record prize that attracts fast runners alongside the holiday crowd.
Packet pickup happens the evening before and again on race morning, both at the Elks. Race-day registration is available in person only, and payment must be cash or check, so come prepared. The start is a mass start, which means the road gets crowded early.
