About the Run for the Corn
The course starts on North Main Street, just south of the festival grounds, then splits after a short stretch into a shorter or longer option. Both routes pull you through wooded trails and across much of the high school cross country course, so expect dirt underfoot, some roots, and possibly wet patches depending on the weather. The open sections keep things moving at a decent clip.
Parking is in the lot behind the elementary school bus garages on Schoolview Road, a short walk from the start and finish. There is a per-car fee that goes to the local sports boosters. The race notes suggest coming in from Jennings Road rather than straight off the main highway, since the road near the festival can get congested that evening.
