About the 4th Annual Run for Tacos
The course follows the Santa Clara path out of Bayard, starting in front of a high school. It is a point-to-point style route on a dedicated path, so you are not threading through traffic. Runners go first, then walkers set off a few minutes behind, which keeps the field from bunching at the start.
Packet pickup opens the morning of the race in the high school parking lot, well before the gun. There is also race-day registration available at the same spot, though runners who register that morning should expect a non-chip result. Tacos are waiting at the finish.
