About the Run For Sight 5K
The race is held at Covington Woods Park, starting and finishing on Covington Street. The course loops through the surrounding neighborhood streets, so the terrain is paved and fairly gentle. Proceeds go entirely toward eyesight conservation programs, and the race is part of a local running club series that connects it to other events around town.
Packet pickup takes place the evening before at the park itself. Parking is on the neighborhood streets outside the course loop. Wheelchair athletes go off first, followed shortly by the main field, with a kids bubble run later in the morning.
