About the Run for Rhinos

The course runs through Delaware Park before finishing inside the Buffalo Zoo itself, which gives the end of the race an unusual feel. The park terrain is gentle, and coming through the zoo gates to cross the finish line is a different experience than most races around the city.

Packet pickup happens at the zoo's main entrance on the two evenings before race day. The zoo parking lot is open on race morning for a fee, and street parking around the zoo is available, though the Ring Road is closed to vehicles.
