About the Run For R.O.A.R.
The course starts on Main Street near a church parking lot and runs out along an old highway route, turning through a couple of residential streets before looping a circle and heading back the same way. The outbound leg has a gentle uphill to it; the return trip gives it back. The finish swings past the post office before straightening out to the line.
Parking is at the local volunteer fire department, a short distance from the start. Registration opens early on race morning. After you finish, there are oranges, bananas, chocolate milk, and water on hand, and coffee, cookies, and donuts available for purchase nearby.
