About the Run for North Caldwell (5K & Color Mile)

The race starts and finishes outside Borough Hall, so the neighborhood itself is the backdrop. The course runs through residential streets, with volunteers and signs posted along the way to keep you on track. The color mile follows later in the morning from the same spot, drawing a younger crowd and plenty of families with kids from the local elementary schools.

Packet pickup happens the evening before at the parking lot next to Borough Hall, with race-morning pickup available as a backup before each event begins. Parking is spread across a couple of nearby lots and several surrounding streets, though one entrance off Mountain Avenue closes early in the morning, so arriving via Central Avenue is the better approach.
