About the Run for Kids' Sake 5k

The course runs through Conestee Park, a green space with paved paths that keeps things straightforward underfoot. The race benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters, and that shows in the crowd: mentor-mentee pairs run together, families line the course, and the whole morning has the feel of a fundraiser where the cause is visible, not just printed on a banner.

Packet pickup opens well before the start, giving you time to browse the vendor area before the race. Coffee and refreshments are out both before and after, and there are family activities on site for anyone who comes to cheer.
