About the Run for Hope 5K! Walk in Unity!

The race and the walk both take place at Bonnie Wenk Park, with the start area on the south side near Virginia Pkwy. The course is not described in detail, but the park setting and the presence of a shorter walk option alongside the timed run gives the morning a broad, open feel rather than a purely competitive one.

Packet pickup happens at the park on race morning before the start. Parking is available at the park itself and at a couple of nearby spots, a local church and a nearby school. After the run, a festival with music and entertainment continues on the grounds through midday.
