About the RUN FOR FREEDOM
The course runs alongside Puddingstone Lake at Bonelli Regional Park, with open water on one side and rolling hills beyond. The shorter distance stays on the lakeside road, mostly flat with a few mild rises. The longer option peels off onto park trails at the halfway point, adding natural terrain and more elevation. Shaded stretches break up the open sections.
Packet pickup runs the morning of the race, with speakers and a warm-up before the start. A vendor expo runs through the late morning alongside post-race programming. The park draws cyclists and walkers on a normal weekend, so the surroundings feel familiar rather than closed off for the event.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The RUN FOR FREEDOM has been held every year since at least 2025. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
