The race starts at Carpenters Park during Carpentersville's Jamboree Days Weekend, a summer village celebration with music, food, and family activities running alongside it. Runners go first, then walkers follow, with dogs and strollers out in the mix. Proceeds go toward local scholarships, children's winter coats, and other Rotary programs in the area.
