About the 13th Annual Run Back to School 5K, 1 Mile Race & Fun Run
The race runs through the streets of the Latimer Lane school district, with the fun run on the upper fields and the longer distances starting at nearby road intersections. The 5K course is marked, and the whole morning is shaped around kids and families, with age-group awards weighted toward younger runners.
Packet pickup and registration open before the first wave, with the fun run going first from the upper fields and the mile and 5K following in sequence from separate start points. All proceeds go to the school's physical education program, and the race is organized by the school's parent-teacher organization.
