About the Run 4 the Goo! - 5K
This is a 5K held during the Arenzville Burgoo, a long-running small-town festival built around a regional stew tradition. The race runs alongside carnival rides, food vendors, and live entertainment, so the surrounding energy on race morning is more county fair than quiet start line. Proceeds go to local organizations and a regional United Way.
Packet pickup the evening before is at the Burgoo pavilion, next to the pie stand. Race-morning pickup opens early, in the same spot under the pavilion. Online registration pauses during both in-person windows, so pick one or the other.
