About the 3rd Annual Rumpee Family Brain Aneurysm Awareness Run/Walk
The course follows the Muskegon bike path along the shoreline of Muskegon Lake, so the scenery is water for most of the route. It is a road surface throughout, and the route is not timed, which shapes the feel of the morning considerably. The race benefits the Brain Aneurysm Foundation and is organized around honoring survivors and families.
Packet pickup happens the morning of the race at the start address, with water stations out on the course for both those running and those walking. Afterward, the Bear Lake Tavern is offering a discount to participants who show their race bib, and a portion of that day's sales goes back to the foundation.
