The race starts and finishes in a boathouse parking lot at North Park Lake. The shorter distance heads out on Tennis Court Road and along Lakeshore Drive before climbing back over a hill on Pearce Mill Road to return. The longer option is a full counter-clockwise loop of the lake. Runners can carry a rucksack or go without.
Packet pickup runs the evening before the race, with a race-morning window as well. Pre-race announcements start shortly before the gun.
