About the RTR 5K for Recovery Run/Walk
The course runs through the Boca Raton Innovation Campus, a former IBM site off T-Rex Ave, with free parking right at the start. The race is organized by RTR, a nonprofit connecting fitness and recovery from addiction, and the morning draws both runners and walkers who are there for the cause as much as the clock.
Packet pickup runs for about a week before race day at a local performance gym, with hours that cover early mornings and weekends. Parking is straightforward once you turn onto the campus road, and the organizers send out directions by email the day before.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2026 results, this is a decent-sized field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The RTR 5K for Recovery Run/Walk has been held every year since at least 2025. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
