About the RRCA Women's Distance Festival 5K and Kids Run

The course runs on paved trails through Otsiningo Park, starting and finishing at the North Shelter. It stays flat the whole way, with stretches of shade along the route. This is a women's and girls' event, put on by the Triple Cities Runners Club, with age group awards that go several places deep and a special award for first-time participants.

A free kids run follows the main race, open to children under eleven, with a short course on the same trails. Kids register on race day and need sneakers. The entry form also asks first-timers to self-identify for that separate award.
