About the Roopville Hornet 5K

The course rolls through the pasture lands and quiet streets near downtown Roopville, with enough hills to keep it honest without being punishing. It is a certified course, which means the distance is accurate and it qualifies for the Peachtree Road Race. Proceeds go to the elementary school's parent-teacher organization.

The race starts and finishes at the elementary school, which also handles packet pickup the evening before and again on race morning. Parking is behind the school, close to both the start and the finish. Sno balls and a local food truck are set up after the race.
