About the Rocky's 5K
The course runs on wide carriage roads through woods, past a lake, and across open rolling pastures. Fall color is the main thing you notice. The terrain is not flat: there are real hills, and the uphills are the kind you feel the next day. Volunteers are posted along the route, and the markings are clear throughout.
Parking is close to the course, and the route is easy to follow from the sidelines, so people waiting for runners do not have to travel far to catch a few views.
