About the Rockin Around the Bluegrass
The course runs through downtown Danville, starting near the Boyle County Courthouse. It is a holiday morning race with Christmas music in the mix, and the surroundings are the kind of walkable downtown streets that make for easy spectating. Both a chip-timed distance and a shorter fun run are on offer, so the field draws a wide range of paces.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at Danville Bike and Footwear, with race-morning pickup available near the courthouse before the start. Afterward, the celebration moves to Constitution Square, where there is coffee, cotton candy, and popcorn. Awards go to top finishers and age group winners, and you need to be present to collect.
