About the Robinson Fire Protection District's Turkey Trot for Tots 5K
This is a Thanksgiving morning fun run that benefits the Robinson Fire Department's Toys for Tots program. The race starts and finishes at the firehouse on South Jackson Street, so the setting is about as no-frills and straightforward as a race gets. Donations beyond the entry fee are welcome, and all of it goes directly to the toy drive.
Check-in and late registration open early on race morning at the firehouse before the run begins. Because this is tied to a toy donation program, it draws a crowd that is there as much for the cause as for the miles.
