About the Robeson County Holiday 5k and Fun Mile
The course winds through The Oaks, a residential neighborhood in Lumberton. It is a route through quiet streets, the kind of setting where you hear your own footsteps. Holiday gear is encouraged, and prizes go to the most festively dressed, so the start line tends to have some costume energy alongside the serious runners.
The shorter distance starts a few minutes after the main race, so families and younger kids have their own moment at the line. Both events share the same neighborhood course and the same morning, which keeps the whole thing compact and easy to navigate.
