About the River Rock 'N Run 5K 2026

The course runs along the river in Brick, looping back so you pass the midpoint twice before finishing. It is a flat route with water on one side, and the out-and-back shape means you can gauge how you are doing against other runners coming the other direction. A solo option and a relay option are both available, so pairs can split the distance and hand off a baton.

Bib pickup opens inside River Rock Restaurant before the start, so there is no scrambling outside. After finishing, everyone heads back inside the same restaurant for a post-race spread with prizes and raffles. The race benefits a regional food bank, and the gathering afterward has the feel of that being the actual point.
