About the Rise N Shine 5K Run/Walk
The race starts and finishes at a barn inside Grand Vue Park, which gives the morning a distinctive setting. The course runs through the park grounds, and the race benefits the American Cancer Society's local Relay For Life chapter, so there is a clear reason behind the gathering beyond the run itself.
Post-race food is part of the tradition here, and door prizes are handed out after the finish. The start area is at the barn, so that is where to find registration on race morning as well.
