About the Riot Run 5k @ Prison City Brewery
The course runs through the center of Auburn, on closed streets, and finishes at the bottom of State Street next to the brewery. It is a city race, so expect pavement, intersections, and the occasional onlooker from a doorstep. The finish area turns into a street festival with live music and yard games, and there is cold beer from Prison City Brewing waiting when you cross.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a band shell on State Street, which the organizers frame as a reason to grab a beer early and sleep in on race morning. Race-day pickup is available at the brewery on State Street as well. Parking is spread across surface lots and street parking around town; the municipal garage on Lincoln Street is the recommended spot.
